We’re looking for a Middle WordPress Developer to join us & support the ongoing development of SEO & Marketing projects we currently have at iDeals. This person will be also focusing on the development of responsive Wordpress themes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Development and installation of plugins, reusable components, modules, packages, etc.
• Identify areas that need work on site and areas that can be improved & optimized
• Work to defined project plans, maintain project timelines and achieve established milestones in an accurate and timely manner
• Code review, analysis, optimization and refactoring of the existing sites
• Deploy projects on stage and production environments
• Writing random both end-to-end & unit tests
• Ensure speed of the sites is consistently fast
• Maintaining our API integrations stack
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
• Advanced skills in:
• Wordpress 4, 5
• PHP 7
• HTML/CSS
• Good understanding of Javascript/jQuery languages
• Experience working with one of the following tools: Figma, Photoshop, Adobe XD, etc.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/SVN)
• Experience working with Nginx/Apache
• Basic understanding of MySQL query
