The Opportunity
Our current team of 160+ people is growing quickly, and we have an immediate opening for an experienced Sales Operations Generalist who will help us drive sales velocity, efficiency, scalability, and overall process excellence. This role is perfect for a creative problem-solver who takes the time to understand what makes a sales system tick, while digging deep into the data to identify opportunities to make the sales system thrive.
What You Will Be Doing
- Partner with Finance and Senior Management to develop, implement and maintain KPIs, leading indicator analysis, pipeline reports, dashboards and scorecards
- Develop, implement, and lead strategy to improve and optimize TaxJar’s sales processes and tools with an eye toward continuous improvement and overperformance
- Own and coordinate the annual sales process planning, including sales budgeting, quota setting and modeling
- Partner with Finance and Sales Leadership to design and administer the sales commission programs, including governance on design, quota development, budgeting and tracking - ensuring incentives drive desired behaviors and results
- Work with our Product and Marketing teams to align GTM strategy and execution model to our product roadmap
- Stay on top of the evolving sales technology landscape and make proactive recommendations around tools and capabilities that will drive growth, scalability, and efficiency within TaxJar’s sales process
- Report to the VP of Sales Operations
What You Bring to the Table
- 4-8 years of professional experience in Sales or Revenue Operations
- Creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Mastery of Salesforce objects and reports
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau) and database languages (SQL) a plus
- Excellent communicator and collaborator; able to work with both technical and non-technical teams
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive, self-driven, and make practical trade-offs when necessary
- Ability to foresee and analyze project risks and develop risk management plans
- Comfort with navigating ambiguity
