What we are looking for:
UX/UI designer for full-time remote contract role. Salary is 4-7K a month with lots of room to grow.
Type of work:
- Informational sites
- Parallax sites
- Mobile Apps
- Complex web apps
- Wire framing + Prototypes (Holla @ Invision yo!)
- Lead design team + mentor jr team members
What you need to bring to the table:
- Be flexible in a fast paced environment
- Be able to work generally during our business hours (9am to 5pm PST).
- Be available throughout the day via slack/email/etc.
- 6 or more years of UX/UI design experience and a portfolio to back it up.
- Ability to create clickable prototypes using InVision.
- Experience with Basecamp/Freedcamp to post and collaborate on projects.
- Extensive experience in using UX/UI design best practices to design solutions and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently, quickly, and intelligently.
- Be curious and intuitive: we ask our designers to decipher and translate user data, analytics, and environment/tech restrictions into beautiful compelling designs and flows.
- Experience conducting remote usability tests to validate designs
Basic Tools You Should Know
- FIGMA
- Adobe Creative Suite
- InVision (or similar tool)
- Google Drive / Dropbox
- Slack
Big bonus if you can:
- Have some print design chops working in Illustrator + Indesign
- Basic knowledge of front end code (HTML. CSS, etc)
- Extrapolate and use analytical data (Google Analytics, CrazyEgg, KissMetrics etc) to create data-driven design solutions;
- Solid understanding for goal-driven design principles;
- Solid understanding of conversion-based design solutions;
