About Us

We're Team Bootcamp, and we make learning science easy. Our flagship product, DAT Bootcamp, is used by over 97% of pre-dental students around the US and Canada. We're a remote team growing slowly and profitably for seven years.

Students who use DAT Bootcamp are studying for a test that determines whether or not they'll be going to dental school. It's a very important time for them that presents many unique challenges to our team.

As a UX Designer of Team Bootcamp, you'll have the opportunity to design how our students prepare for the biggest test of their lives.

About You

The meat of our product is a question bank that allows students to answer multiple choice questions. You'll be using Figma / Sketch and HTML & CSS to prototype beautiful and enjoyable ways for students to interact with our question bank, both on the web and mobile.

You'll be considering the emotional weight of studying in your designs. How can we provide emotional support during a process that at times can feel lonely? How can we create a sense of community around our product?

And how can we lower the friction to study so it's as simple as flipping open a book? We want to create beautiful and enjoyable study experiences, and that starts with your design.

You'll be working closely with our team of engineers, so clear communication is very important. Great writing skills are required. As we launch new question banks covering other sciences and tests, you’ll also help with designing our internal workflow and backend.

We have a small team, so your impact will be felt immediately.
